This two-part workshop with guest instructor Sarah Cihat introduces plaster mold making and ceramic slip casting for beginner to intermediate participants. Sessions cover mold design, coddle wall construction, plaster mixing and pouring, slip casting, demolding, greenware finishing, and studio firing. Each session runs from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. The fee includes materials, casting slip, tool use, and bisque and clear glaze firings. Participants should bring a nonporous object no larger than 4 inches wide by 7 inches long by 5 inches high, without undercuts.
