Michael Mann’s crime thriller follows a retired criminal profiler who returns to the FBI to help track down a serial killer targeting families. He is forced to consult the imprisoned Dr. Hannibal Lecktor, while the investigation brings him into contact with the hunted killer and the killer’s blind love interest. This 4K Final Cut was overseen by Mann and serves as both a restoration and a final edit. It was scanned from the original 35mm negative, digitally restored at L’Immagine Ritrovata, and includes new theatrical and home-video color gradings, along with a restored sound mix.
