Percussionist, music educator, and composer-arranger Miles Damaso leads this trio. Based in Nashville, he performs a wide range of music with groups throughout the South and Midwest and has played alongside musicians including Emmet Cohen, Joel Frahm, and Yasushi Nakamura. Damaso holds music degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Indiana University. His honors include winning the NYJE Composition Contest twice, receiving the Austin B. Caswell Award, and earning the Outstanding Instrumentalist Award at Kirkwood Community College.
