Ariel Lawhon discusses The Pirate Queen in conversation with J.T. Ellison at the Commodore Ballroom in Vanderbilt University’s Student Life Center on Tuesday, September 8, at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The historical novel is inspired by Grace O’Malley, an Irish sea captain who fights to defend her land, ships, and people. Tickets are $35.25 and include one general admission seat and one signed copy of the book. A signing line for personalizations will follow the conversation.
