Jazz at Blair: Blair Big Band with Camille Thurman

The Blair Big Band, directed by Ryan Middagh, performs with saxophonist and vocalist Camille Thurman in a jazz program. The ensemble has received its 15th and 16th DownBeat Student Music Awards and released the recording project Sunrise in the Spring. Thurman is a saxophonist, vocalist, composer and bandleader, and a former member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. The performance is scheduled for Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. in Ingram Hall at the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt. Tickets are available at BlairTickets.com.
