A monthly series of educational conversations explores Nashville’s Civil Rights history, culture, and community through rotating historians, educators, and community leaders. Each panel is moderated by Elliott Robinson, keeper of the Civil Rights Room at the Nashville Public Library. The inaugural season includes “The Lunch Counter Sit-Ins” on September 23, 2026; “Sounds of Freedom” with Jefferson Street Sound Museum on October 21, 2026; “Glory & Gospel” with The Museum of Christian & Gospel Music on January 27, 2027; and “Nashville’s Student Leaders” on February 24, 2027.
