CreatiVets presents a concert supporting the healing of wounded veterans, featuring Dave Turnbull, Mark Irwin, and Tommy Karla. CreatiVets uses songwriting, visual arts, music, and creative writing to help disabled veterans cope with service-related trauma and foster self-expression. Turnbull’s songwriting credits include recordings by Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Montgomery Gentry, and others. Irwin co-wrote songs including Alan Jackson’s “Here in the Real World,” Tim McGraw’s “Highway Don’t Care,” and Blake Shelton’s “Neon Light.”
