Alex Charles is a Nashville-based singer, songwriter, saxophonist, and producer whose work blends contemporary pop and neo-soul. His studio and live work includes major TV placements, RIAA-certified gold records, and custom event performances. Boo Ray has released records since 2010, including the 2016 album Sea of Lights, recorded with Steve Ferrone of The Heartbreakers on drums. His live performances feature twin-guitar jams, pedal steel solos, improvisational interludes, storytelling, and sets that can last three hours without breaks. His music is played by Tom Petty Radio, Texas and Americana radio, European radio, and SiriusXM stations.
