Miguel dreams of becoming a musician despite his family’s generations-old ban on music. After a mysterious chain of events, he finds himself in the Land of the Dead, where he meets the trickster Hector. Together, they uncover the truth about Miguel’s family history. The film is part of the Franklin Theatre’s FEAR FEST series, a monthlong Halloween-season program featuring scary, animated, family, classic, and horror films. The Franklin Theatre does not show previews; the movie begins at the posted time.
