Event details
The first Community Conversation of the season features vocalist, storyteller, and arts-in-health facilitator Fred Johnson in an interactive session on music’s role in reducing stress, improving focus, and supporting emotional well-being. Participants will explore breathing, rhythm, and sound techniques for calming the mind, restoring balance, and building resilience. Johnson has spent more than 40 years using music and narrative in community empowerment, interfaith reconciliation, and health-based arts initiatives. The session is part of TPAC’s series connecting the performing arts with health literacy, including cognitive wellness, mental fitness, and social health. A free box lunch will be served to all registrants.
