Event details
This free virtual talk examines Byzantine Corinth, which remained an important urban center from the fourth through 13th centuries CE. Drawing on recent archaeological research, Dr. Rossana Valente discusses how pottery, stone vessels, tools, and evidence of craft production and long-distance exchange reveal the lives of Byzantine Corinthians. The symposium is free and open to the public, begins at 11 a.m. Central, and will be recorded. Zoom registration is available.
