Metaphor Not Required is an open mic for poetry and poetry-adjacent work, including spoken word, flash fiction, journal entries, and love letters. Participants receive 10 minutes at the microphone with the purchase of a food or beverage. Performances must feature writing by someone in attendance; work by deceased or famous poets is not included. Hosted by Michael Gilbertson.
