Master Wood Turning: Small Vessel

About this event

This advanced class covers turning a small hollow vessel, including higher-level tool sharpening, sanding, and buffing techniques. Instructor Jared Moran will guide students through completing a vessel approximately 5 by 5 by 5 inches. The class lasts about eight hours and is limited to three students, with one lathe per student and individual instruction. Students must have completed two other wood-turning classes before enrolling. The minimum age is 10; students 14 and under must attend with a parent who is also enrolled. The Forge supplies tools, materials, and a light lunch; students should bring beverages. Enrollments are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
