The Nashville Symphony, conducted by Leonard Slatkin, closes its 2026–2027 season with a program centered on American music and repertoire. The concert includes Cindy McTee’s Adagio for String Orchestra, Copland’s Billy the Kid: Ballet in One Act in a performance of the complete ballet, and Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra. The program commemorates 250 years of the United States, 80 years of the Nashville Symphony, and 20 years at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
