About this event

This intermediate-level class covers traditional mortise and tenon joinery using a table saw and hollow chisel mortiser. Participants will practice creating a tight-fitting joint and produce a joinery sample; there is no separate project. The class lasts approximately three hours, and all tools and materials are provided. Prior woodworking experience and comfort using a table saw are required. The minimum age is 16; participants ages 16–17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also enrolled. Enrollment closes three days before class, and late enrollment requires approval. Class registrations are nonrefundable and nontransferable. David Amundson is the instructor.
