Sweeping Promises is a band formed by Lira Mondal and CauField Schnug. The duo recorded its debut album, Hunger for a Way Out, using a self-devised single-mic technique and mixing it in mono. After touring the United States and abroad with live drummer Spenser Gralla, the band relocated to Lawrence, Kansas, and released its sophomore album, Good Living Is Coming for You, through Feel It Records and Sub Pop.
