The evening features Laurie Lewis & The Right Hands, led by California bluegrass singer, songwriter, fiddler, producer and mentor Laurie Lewis, whose more than 40-year career has helped shape the genre. Lewis is also described as an award-winning and Grammy-winning artist. The Asheville Mountain Boys open the program with hard-driving, traditional bluegrass inspired by the music’s earliest pioneers. Their set focuses on the raw drive, spirit and sound of early bluegrass.
