Event details
Nashville-native saxophonist, woodwind doubler and composer Jason Johnson leads this quintet. Johnson studied with saxophonist Evan Cobb in high school and is studying jazz performance and composition at Vanderbilt University under saxophonist Jeff Coffin. He has also been named a semifinalist in the 2026 Yamaha Young Artists Competition. The quintet features Johnson and Trace Crabtree on saxophone, Isaiah Cross on piano, Ethan Assad on bass, and Will Stenberg on drums.
