Kite Fest at Mill Ridge Park includes kites and flying tutorials, kite making, arts and crafts, picnic snacks, and lawn games. Activities are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees should bring a blanket or chair. Parking is available in the grass along the gravel driveway, with flags and signage at the entrance. Volunteer roles include assembling kites, demonstrating kite-flying etiquette, welcoming visitors, and facilitating lawn games.
