Author Sharon Cameron appears at Parnassus Books for an in-store event about her new book, Up from the Ashes, on Tuesday, October 6, at 6:30 p.m. Central Time. The novel is based on the true story of Selma Wijnberg and Chaim Engel, Jewish prisoners who fell in love and participated in the revolt and escape from the Sobibor death camp during the Holocaust.
