Discovery Design Time is a recurring monthly program featuring a new theme and hands-on activity at each session. This session, themed “Science of Everyday Things,” explores botany and greenhouse design. Participants will learn how greenhouses use clear panels to let in sunlight and retain warmth, then build a mini greenhouse from a box, popsicle sticks, and plastic wrap. They will plant chia seeds and explore vocabulary including gardening, structure, greenhouse, and germination.
