About this event

This Discovery Design Time session explores layering through gelli printing, a printmaking process in which participants use a gelli plate and brayer to apply ink or paint to cardstock. They will build additional layers with stamps, leaves, and paper cutouts to create texture and design. The Monsters in the Museum-themed session also introduces printmaking vocabulary, including subtractive, registering, brayer, and distribution. Discovery Design Time is held weekly on Thursdays, with a new theme and hands-on activity each session.
