This weekly hands-on art session explores implied texture, using brush techniques to create smooth surfaces, fuzzy fur and overlapping scales. Participants will practice with flat, fan and filbert brushes before designing an original monster that combines all three textures. The session also introduces vocabulary such as brush types and implied texture while building painting technique, medium exploration and observation skills. Discovery Design Time is held every Thursday, with a new theme and activity each week.
