Medium Build, the project of Nick Carpenter, brings songs from the album King of Having Fun to Brooklyn Bowl Nashville. The record combines rock-and-roll energy with lo-fi, indie and country influences, alongside candid lyrics about recovery, relationships and self-examination. Nashville native Eden Joel opens the show. The 20-year-old singer, songwriter and producer has toured with artists including Stephen Sanchez, Annie DiRusso, Mercury, Venus and the Fly Traps, and Hannah Cole. His solo project features indie-pop melodies and lyricism shaped by his years performing and working in Nashville’s music scene.
