Nashville Jazz Workshop presents a program devoted to the music and sound of ECM, featuring drummer Danny Gottlieb, pianist Pat Coil, and special guest Jeff Coffin on saxophone. The repertoire draws from the work of Pat Metheny, Keith Jarrett, Lyle Mays, Eberhard Weber, and others. Gottlieb was the founding drummer of the Pat Metheny Group, while Coil is a Nashville pianist and arranger whose work includes recordings and performances with Doc Severinsen, Michael McDonald, and the Manhattan Transfer. Coffin has performed with Béla Fleck and the Flecktones and the Dave Matthews Band. Jacob Jezioro plays bass, and Beth Gottlieb plays percussion. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in the Jazz Cave.
