This beginner linocut printmaking workshop consists of two consecutive weekly sessions, each approximately three hours long. Participants learn to draw, transfer, carve and print a design, with instruction covering printmaking history, relief and linocut techniques, materials, carving and printing. Each student creates a carved block and three custom prints, with class materials included. Attendees must participate in both sessions and attend the first session to continue. The class is for ages 16 and older; anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is also enrolled. Enrollments are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
