This in-person AmericanaFest panel examines the organizational, financial, and cultural work involved in preserving and supporting Black musical traditions, including gospel, blues, sacred song, and the legacy of Nashville’s historic Jefferson Street. The discussion features moderator Gina Waters Miller and panelists Dr. Ambre Dromgoole, Dr. Bryan Pierce, Shannon Sanders, and Lorenzo Washington. The event begins at 12:00 p.m. in the Tennessee State Museum’s Digital Learning Center. Boxed lunches from Apple Spice Nashville are available for purchase for $12.24 and include a sandwich, chips, and a cookie.
