About this event

For the fourth consecutive year, the Americana Association and Schermerhorn Symphony Center present this AMERICANAFEST special event featuring soprano Renée Fleming and banjo player Béla Fleck. Inspired by the 250th anniversary of the United States, the program explores Appalachian folk music through mountain songs, ballads, and folk hymns. Fleck’s My Bluegrass Heart features Michael Cleveland, Sierra Hull, Dominick Leslie, Jeff Partin, Mark Schatz, and Jake Stargel. Additional special guests are to be announced. The performance is presented without the Nashville Symphony.
