In La Obra (The Play), Argentine director and filmmaker Mariano Pensotti tells the story of Simon Frank, a Polish Jewish survivor who recreates places from his past in a small Argentine town, drawing the community into a living work of theater. A revolving stage presents cinematic images and scenes exploring memory, identity, reenactment, and the boundaries between truth and performance. The production is performed in Spanish with projected English translations. Artist and Creative Community tickets are $25–$30.
