Saxophonist Don Aliquo performs with pianist Marc Payne, bassist Jack Aylor and drummer Ryan Brasley. Aliquo’s release “Growth” features eight original compositions that explore complex, open forms and provide space for improvisation. His work spans six solo projects and collaborations with artists including Gary Burton, Greg Osby, Rufus Reid, Roger Humphries and Beegie Adair. He is Professor of Saxophone and Jazz Studies at Middle Tennessee State University and a Selmer and Vandoren artist.
