The Sofia Goodman Trio features Nashville-based drummer, composer and bandleader Sofia Goodman. Her work includes repertoire developed for a trio and other ensembles, and her group has toured the U.S. and Canada since 2017. Goodman has released three albums on Joyous Records and, with The Sofia Goodman Group, won the 2024 NIMA award for Best Jazz Group. She has also performed with Bobby Rush, Latimore, the Music City Big Band and others, and works as an educator and mentor.
