This beginner-level, hands-on workshop introduces linocut printmaking, including drawing, transferring, carving and printing an original design. Instruction covers the history of printmaking, relief and linocut techniques, materials, and the carving and printing process. Participants leave with a carved block, three custom prints, and reference materials. No prior experience is required. The class consists of two three-hour sessions held on consecutive weeks. Participants must attend both sessions, including the first session, to complete the project. Materials and instruction are included in the class fee. Enrollments are subject to a no-refund, no-transfer policy.
