DECLARATION is a dance-theater work by New Dialect and poet Ciona Rouse that examines the language and legacy of the American Declaration of Independence. Choreographer Banning Bouldin leads dancers through contemporary choreography, erasure poetry, and Rouse’s live spoken-word score. The work explores freedom, belonging, civic participation, and whose voices shape shared histories. Artist and Creative Community tickets are $25–$35.
