Nashville-native saxophonist, woodwind doubler, and composer Jason Johnson leads this quartet. He studied with Nashville saxophonist Evan Cobb and is studying jazz performance and composition at Vanderbilt University under saxophonist Jeff Coffin. Through Vanderbilt, he has crossed paths with Sean Jones, Brian Blade, Ignacio Berroa, The New York Voices, Ari Hoenig, and John Batiste. Johnson was also recently named a semifinalist in the 2026 Yamaha Young Artists Competition. The quartet features Johnson on saxophone, Eli Ibrahim on piano, Joe Bonvissuto on bass, and Miles Buchmann on drums.
