About this event
This exhibition features more than 150 original drawings, woodcuts, lithographs, and mezzotints by Dutch artist M.C. Escher. It traces his work from lesser-known book illustrations and commissions to prints exploring perspective, repeating geometric patterns, metamorphosis, and infinity. The exhibition includes fantastical architectural scenes with stairways to nowhere and repeated tiles depicting morphing animals, highlighting Escher’s technical approach to image-making over nearly five decades.
