Discovery Design Time is a hands-on session about the technology behind modern printmaking. Participants use a mobile zero-ink printer, which uses heat and dye-embedded paper instead of ink, to print a photo or choose a prepared character design. They then cut, assemble, and decorate an ornament using a frame backing, ribbon, and craft supplies. The session explores how technology and art can preserve memories. Discovery Design Time is held weekly on Thursdays, with a new theme and activity each session.
