Introduction to Wood Turning: Ornament

This beginner-level, approximately three-hour class introduces wood turning and the basics of using a lathe, including tools, accessories, holding techniques and safe form. Students will practice by turning a hanging ornament, which they can take home after sanding and sealing. Tuition includes all materials. The minimum age is 10. Participants age 14 and under must attend with a parent who is also enrolled. Class enrollments are subject to a no-refund, no-transfer policy. The instructor is Jared Moran of Wildland Woodworks.
